About the role:
Our Store Managers are at the heart of keeping our stores thriving. They are known for putting customers first and for inspiring their team to deliver a memorable shopping experience. Alongside being a manager, you will also play an active part in engaging and building relationships with your community.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking overall accountability for your store and team, ensuring a great customer experience is being delivered
- Providing excellent leadership to your team to create a high-performance culture
- Leading the team to drive sales, memberships and community engagement
- Driving people-related activities such as training, development and performance, whilst still being hands-on within the store when needed
- Actively involved with social initiatives and volunteering hours to support your local community
Who are we looking for?
- Experience within retail management - preferably in a food store setting (required)
- Strong leadership experience and ability to inspire teams through leading by example
- Sound commercial and business acumen
- A natural ability to listen, interact and communicate with customers and team members
- The ability to multi-task, be self-assured and organised
