Pay: 46,000.00 per year

Location: Nottingham Area

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts, 4 on 4 off.

This role will be ideal for an industrial electrician who has plant experience and can complete the job from start to finish - from maintenance to diagnostics to installations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work in line with the site Health & Safety procedures and policies.
  • Report daily to the Engineering Team Leader.
  • Liaise with the Shift Team Leader to ensure efficient operation of factory processes.
  • Develop an understanding of core site operations, including:
  • Steam-raising plant
  • Odour control systems
  • Effluent treatment plant
  • Monitor electrical equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance.
  • Carry out electrical breakdown repairs promptly.
  • Support fellow shift personnel as instructed by the Shift Team Leader or site management.
  • Undertake electrical installation work and site upgrade projects.
  • Perform routine electrical and mechanical maintenance in line with planned schedules.
  • Participate in the on-call rota.
  • The Ideal Candidate:

    • Completed a recognised City & Guilds Electrical Apprenticeship (Preferred).
    • Significant electrical experience in a continuous process environment.
    • Strong background in electrical maintenance and breakdown resolution.
    • Demonstrable fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
    • Good understanding of general factory maintenance practices.
    • Basic familiarity with PLC logic and inverter drives.
    • Basic mechanical capability.
    • Previous experience working within plant operations.
