Yourconstruction are delighted to be working with a manufacturer in Sutton Coldfield area. The role is rotational hours: Team Leader Rotational days/afternoons – £14.70 including shift allowance Night Shift – £15.40 including shift allowance – M-Wed 20:50 – 06:00, Thu 20:50 – 06:50 Role definition: The role is imperative for the manufacturing department to run smoothly and to ensure Process Operatives are trained and understand standard procedures. Communication is imperative in this position as you will be dealing with individuals across all departments. You will be responsible for organising operator’s breaks within the area assigned and ensuring operators have all equipment they need to adhere to the process. Verify Q numbers for Material/BOP are correctly aligned with schedules for traceability. You will continuously patrol the production area assigned, review NCP and escalate it to quality for verification as well as notify a setter/technician for any moulding defects. Any incorrect process adherence needs to be reported to the Technical supervisor/Production supervisor for escalation and to contribute to the cell clean down to minimize risk of any quality concerns within the business Key areas of responsibility, duties and the deliverables expected: · Managing the day-to-day activities of the team. · Motivating the team to achieve organisational goals. · Developing and implementing a timeline to achieve targets. · Delegating tasks to team members. · Conducting training of team members to maximize their potential · Verify "Q" numbers to schedules · Ensure process adherence is maintained at all times ( Unless Deviation is in place ) · Contribute to Cell Clean downs once production is completed. · Validation of assembly fixture condition · Uphold communication with operators · Housekeeping Audits daily · Daily Shift reports · Continuously Check NCP for validation · Label Control and verification · NCP input shift data on Thingtrax · Progress Chase Daily Customer requirements against EDI · Conduct Return to work · Conduct Disciplinary when required. · Maximize machine efficiency General Responsibilities & duties · Adhere to company quality awareness · Assist other areas of the business when required to carry out the same or similar. · Any other reasonable duties · Support the operations and admin. · Lead and motivate the team · Monitor performance · Solve Problems · Care for the health and welfare of team. · Communicate to manager regarding any issues.
