We are seeking a reliable and fully qualified Electrician to support a 3-week shopfitting project. The role involves carrying out basic electrical fit-out works as part of a wider installation team. You’ll be responsible for connecting and commissioning electrical components, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical installation and basic fit-out works within a retail/shopfitting environment.
  • Perform connection works, including lighting, power, and associated fixtures.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and site plans.
  • Work safely and effectively alongside joiners, shopfitters, and other trades.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and on-site safety procedures.
  • Report progress and any issues to the site supervisor.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • ECS card preferred but not essential.
  • Must have full PPE (boots, hi-vis, hard hat, gloves, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Previous shopfitting or commercial fit-out experience beneficial.

Contract Details

  • Duration: 3 weeks
  • Hours: 10 hours per day (flexible)
  • Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
