We are seeking a reliable and fully qualified Electrician to support a 3-week shopfitting project. The role involves carrying out basic electrical fit-out works as part of a wider installation team. You’ll be responsible for connecting and commissioning electrical components, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation and basic fit-out works within a retail/shopfitting environment.
- Perform connection works, including lighting, power, and associated fixtures.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and site plans.
- Work safely and effectively alongside joiners, shopfitters, and other trades.
- Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and on-site safety procedures.
- Report progress and any issues to the site supervisor.
Requirements
- Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- ECS card preferred but not essential.
- Must have full PPE (boots, hi-vis, hard hat, gloves, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Previous shopfitting or commercial fit-out experience beneficial.
Contract Details
- Duration: 3 weeks
- Hours: 10 hours per day (flexible)
- Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
