About the Dental Technician role

Join our Dental Laboratory team delivering high-quality dental prostheses that support better oral health outcomes for the community through modern digital and traditional workflows. Support community oral health services across clinics and outreach settings, using CAD/CAM and 3Shape to improve efficiency, accuracy and patient outcomes in a collaborative, innovative and safety-focused environment. This is a part time (0.6FTE), fixed term position until 30 June, 2027. Hourly rate dependent on skills and experience. Offices located in the Northern Suburbs.

Your Passion and Commitment will see you:

  • Fabricate, process and maintain high-quality dental prostheses and appliances within scope of practice
  • Operate CAD/CAM and 3Shape digital systems to support efficient design and workflow
  • Maintain accurate records, case tracking and lab documentation through digital systems
  • Repair, reline and adjust prostheses to meet clinical and patient needs
  • Collaborate with dentists, prosthetists and oral health teams to deliver optimal outcomes

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Diploma of Dental Technology (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience in full-scope dental technology
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM workflows (e.g. 3Shape) and digital systems
  • Understanding of public dental models and community health principles
  • Strong communication and case management coordination skills
