Full time Permanent Salary: Up to £37,154.00 per annum

Hours: Full-time, permanent (37.5 hours/week)

Shift Pattern: Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and an average of two sleep‑ins per week (included in salary)

Sleep-In Rate: £55 per sleep-in (included in total salary package)

Your role as a Senior Residential Support Worker involves a key leadership position within one of our therapeutic homes, creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can heal and thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading by Example: Supporting the team in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care
  • Day‑to‑Day Support: Assisting children with routines such as personal care, meals, and activities
  • Mentoring Staff: Guiding junior team members, sharing knowledge and supporting development
  • Emotional and Behavioural Support: Helping children regulate emotions and manage challenges
  • Promoting Learning: Supporting education, skill‑building, and personal growth
  • Maintaining Records: Ensuring accurate documentation and contributing to care planning
  • Creating a Safe Home: Helping maintain a positive, safe and structured environment

  • Experienced: Skilled in residential childcare and confident in a leadership role
