Your role as a Senior Residential Support Worker involves a key leadership position within one of our therapeutic homes, creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can heal and thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading by Example: Supporting the team in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care
- Day‑to‑Day Support: Assisting children with routines such as personal care, meals, and activities
- Mentoring Staff: Guiding junior team members, sharing knowledge and supporting development
- Emotional and Behavioural Support: Helping children regulate emotions and manage challenges
- Promoting Learning: Supporting education, skill‑building, and personal growth
- Maintaining Records: Ensuring accurate documentation and contributing to care planning
- Creating a Safe Home: Helping maintain a positive, safe and structured environment
