As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you’ll be a crucial part of a passionate team, helping vulnerable young people through their challenges and creating positive change in their lives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting daily routines: Supporting children with personal care, meal preparation, and daily activities to help them develop independence.
  • Educational support: Encouraging and supporting children in their learning journey, assisting with homework, and helping them develop new skills.
  • Leading recreational activities: Organising and leading recreational activities, including fun events and holidays, to increase engagement and enhance well-being.
  • Emotional support: Providing guidance, care, and person-centred support to help children navigate difficult moments.
  • Documentation: Completing care plans, reports, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintaining a safe environment: Ensuring the home is clean, secure, and well-organised.
  • Team collaboration: Working closely with colleagues to create a positive, nurturing environment.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in residential care is preferred but not essential—we provide full training to support your success in the role.
