Job description
We are seeking compassionate Care Assistant to join our team and provide essential care services to individuals in home care. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily activities, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, oral care.
- Support client with mobility requirements Within their homes
- Communicate effectively with clients families, and healthcare professionals
- prompting/administrating medication
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist in meal preparation and feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. -supporting im the comminity with activitie. - completing shopping requirements within clients required needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in dommicilary care or home care setting is desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Basic IT skills for documenting care activities
- Valid driver's license & access to own vehicke required- located in cardiff or local areas
- Compassionate and patient demeanor to interact with clients in a caring manner
