Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Used Car Manager to lead our used car sales department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in car sales and sales management, with a proven track record of upselling additional products and achieving sales targets. This role requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as the ability to foster relationships with customers and team members alike. Multilingual or bilingual candidates are highly desirable, as they will enhance our customer engagement efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the used car department, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
  • Train, mentor, and manage the sales team to enhance their skills in upselling and customer service.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using CRM software, ensuring all vehicles are correctly priced and marketed.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers through effective communication and phone etiquette, addressing any concerns or queries promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through to post-sale follow-up.
  • Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for growth within the used car segment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in car sales and sales management, 5 years within the automotive industry.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual capabilities are an advantage.
  • Proficient in CRM software for tracking leads, managing customer relationships, and reporting on sales performance.
  • A demonstrated ability to upsell products and services effectively while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
