We are an award-winning private ultrasound and blood testing clinic, offering ultrasound appointments for pregnant women from as early as 5 weeks. As a family-run business, we pride ourselves on delivering first-class customer service in a calm, safe, caring, and conscientious environment.
Your Baby Scan are recruiting for a receptionist to join the existing team at our busy Widnes scan centre. The ideal candidate would be able to deliver both first-class customer service, giving customers a premium experience second-to-none, whilst upholding our highest standards of clinical cleanliness and effectively using the IT systems to provide the services that the customer is paying for. The ideal candidate would be compassionate towards our customers' concerns and able to make positive conversation with customers whilst they’re waiting, helping them to relax.
Duties of the role include:
- Meeting & greeting customers as they arrive at the scan centre
- Maintaining a very high level of customer care
- Delivering a relaxing, professional, and premium experience to customers
- Taking calls and entering bookings into our booking system
- Guiding customers through the consent form
- Ensuring refreshments are refilled regularly
- Keeping the reception, corridors, kitchen area, and toilet clean
- Printing images for customers in various formats
- Filing consent forms
- Producing copies of reports when anomalies are found
- Providing support and direction to patients when needed according to our clinical pathways
- Processing payments by card, cash or discount voucher
Requirements: Suitable candidates must possess the following skills:
- Ability to communicate clearly both in spoken and written English
- Must be able to communicate in a calm, reassuring, and comforting manner using all available communication methods
- Must be capable of handling phone calls
- Must be capable of handling patients in person
- Must be capable of handling money and taking card payments
- Must be able to use a computer to the level of navigating websites and printing documents
All mandatory training will be provided to the successful candidate.
