Job Purpose

Your Advantage Tennis Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Level 2 Pickleball Coach to deliver high-quality coaching sessions for junior and adult players of all abilities.

The successful candidate will support the growth and development of the academy’s pickleball programme by creating engaging, inclusive, and progressive coaching sessions that encourage participation, skill development, and long-term enjoyment of the sport.

The role requires a coach who is energetic, professional, and passionate about developing players within a welcoming and positive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coaching & Programme Delivery
  • Deliver structured and engaging group and individual pickleball coaching sessions.
  • Support beginner, improver, social, and development-level pickleball programmes.
  • Plan progressive sessions suitable for varying ages and abilities.
  • Demonstrate and teach fundamental technical and tactical pickleball skills.
  • Adapt coaching sessions to meet the needs of individual participants.
  • Assist with holiday camps, social events, tournaments, and pickleball promotion days.
  • Player Development
  • Encourage player participation, confidence, and enjoyment.
  • Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive behaviour on court.
  • Support the development of pathways for recreational and competitive players.

Essential Criteria

Qualifications

  • Recognised Level 2 Pickleball Coaching Qualification.
  • Current DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Current First Aid certification.
  • Safeguarding training completed or willingness to complete.

Experience

  • Experience delivering pickleball coaching sessions.
  • Experience working with adults and/or junior participants.
  • Experience leading group activities or sports coaching sessions.
