Malieu cafe in Acton is a new Brunch/Lunch restaurant in London. We are creative, rewarding, collaborative and our goal is to make delicious Breakfast and lunch experiences in an unpretentious way!.
We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Barista/Waitress at our bustling café. If you have a passion for crafting exceptional coffee and providing outstanding customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As a Barista/Waitress, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring our customers have a memorable experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, espresso, and specialty drinks.
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the café, including tables, counters, and workstations.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
- Monitor and restock inventory, including coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista is required.
- Excellent knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee varieties.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
