A unique pub situated on the Exeter canal, 15 mins walk from the quayside and now 5 minutes from Marsh Barton train station. The pub has one of the largest beer gardens in the south with over 1000 outdoor spaces. We host various events and functions that cater from 100 to our busiest one of the year hijacking 4000 people. With outdoor bars and BBQs, no week is ever the same at the double locks. In the winter was a lovely traditional pub with log fires and lots of dogs.

What we look for in our team members:

As a successful member of our front of house team we are looking for someone with a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience every time, with a friendly outgoing personality and desire to work as
part of a team. You’ll
get lots of training, learn about all our products & have a good time along
the way.

You will be trained how to:

– Serve guests from behind the bar, pouring pints and preparing drinks from our bespoke Spritz menu

– Take food orders with an understanding of our seasonal menu, upselling where appropriate and relaying allergen and dietry information to the kitchen where necessary

– Delivering food to guests in the pub as well as in our large outdoor area with seating for up to 500 as well as completing check-backs to all guests to ensure customer satisfaction

– Clearing plates and glasses and maintaining the pub\’s cleanliness and tidiness
