The Dog & Fox is on the hunt for an Assistant Manager — someone who can keep the drinks flowing, the team motivated, the customers happy, and occasionally find the missing bottle opener. We're looking for a hospitality all-rounder with personality, confidence, and the ability to smile through a Saturday night rush while someone asks if the kitchen is still serving at 9:59pm.

The Dog & Fox is an iconic pub with rooms in the heart of Wimbledon Village. We are an established events venue, pub, dining serving a premium collection of draught & craft beers, local London spirits and fine wines. We offer the best in seasonal, fresh, British produce for our menu and have 25 exquisite bedrooms. Just a 10-minute walk from Wimbledon train station and on several bus routes we are easy to reach and busy all year long. With Wimbledon Tennis Championships in the summer and Christmas functions throughout the winter there is never a boring moment at the Dog & Fox Hotel!

As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the management team to help keep The Dog and Fox running smoothly:

  • Leading shifts and supporting the team
  • Helping train and motivate staff
  • Handling customer queries, complaints, and questionable dance moves professionally
  • Helping create a fun, positive atmosphere for both staff and customers

Requirements:

  • Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality
  • Passion for hospitality, food, drinks, and creating a great atmosphere
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
