We’re looking for a confident, motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join the leadership team at The Clapham North — one of South London’s most vibrant late-night venues. This is a liquor-led, high-energy pub that thrives on atmosphere, personality and consistently brilliant service. As Assistant Manager, you’ll lead from the front — driving standards, supporting the team, and playing a key role in delivering our packed weekly events calendar.
Responsibilities include managing all aspects of team development from recruitment all the way up to internal promotions, full autonomy over rota scheduling, and supporting the GM with shift leadership, stock control and operational standards.
The Clapham North is a fast-paced, late-night venue with serious character. During the week, we host everything from Neon Naked Life Drawing and Comedy Nights to Open Mic sessions and our famously outrageous quiz. At weekends, we turn it up — live music, DJs until 3am, and old-school bangers filling the dancefloor. We’re a pub with personality that happens to show sport.
