Overview
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring production plans are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Leading production teams across processing and packing, this role focuses on performance, compliance, and continuous improvement while optimising labour, materials, and equipment to meet business objectives.
Working closely with Engineering, Technical, Supply Chain, and other support functions, the Production Manager ensures smooth operational flow, full compliance with food safety and health & safety standards, and strong delivery against production targets.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily production activities to achieve output, quality, cost, and service targets.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards, including BRC and HACCP requirements.
- Manage production schedules, labour planning, and performance against KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimise downtime.
- Develop, coach, and motivate production teams, building capability and engagement.
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Technical, and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and maintain operational stability.
