The Dog & Fox in Wimbledon is seeking a reliable and experienced Multi-Trade Handyman / Maintenance Operative to support the day-to-day upkeep of our busy hospitality venue. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional looking for consistent part-time work with flexibility and the option for extra hours across other sites.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out general maintenance and repair work
- Basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and decorating
- Repairing furniture, doors, locks, fixtures, and fittings
- Minor electrical and mechanical work (where qualified)
- Planned and preventative maintenance
- Responding to maintenance requests from management
- Ensuring the premises remain safe, presentable, and compliant
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance operative, or multi-trade worker
- Strong practical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Good communication skills
- Own basic tools preferred
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in hospitality environments is an advantage
