Our client is looking for a new 3rd Line IT Support Analyst to join its small and busy IT Services team. This is a far-reaching role that would suit a strong all-round technical support analyst / support engineer that enjoys variety and always having something to do.
The IT Support Analyst will be part of the team supporting approximately 600-650 users across multiple sites. You will provide software and hardware technical support at a 3rd line level for Group wide systems within the Data Centres and services to the customer. With a wide remit that leans more towards overseeing the building, maintaining and administration of the data centre, virtualisation, server, SAN storage, backup, systems and security aspects.
The role also requires and would benefit from someone that has good knowledge and experience with networking and firewall practices. This is an office-based position based on the outskirts of Canterbury. Due to the remote location, the successful candidate will need to drive or ride a motorbike as the site isn't well served by public transport.
