Site Manager Temp to Perm - Starting 5th November 220 unit RC frame and Traditional Build Apartment Scheme Uxbridge A hands-on Site Management opportunity on a 220-unit apartment scheme near Uxbridge, with responsibility for two blocks comprising 65 apartments. The employer is seeking someone who understands both reinforced concrete (RC) frame and traditional build apartments and wants an active role in delivery. With the RC frame currently at topping-out and façade works stage, there is a tangible construction challenge to take on. The temp-to-perm arrangement also offers scope for a longer-term move, rather than simply another short assignment. Role Purpose You’ll take day-to-day responsibility for your two blocks, maintaining a clear grip on site activity as work progresses through the current construction stages. This calls for a practical Site Manager who can coordinate trades, recognise problems early and follow through on the details that affect safety, quality and progress. Relevant apartment construction experience matters, alongside the energy to lead actively on site. Your contribution will be to keep work organised, resolve day-to-day delivery issues and maintain clear expectations across the areas under your control. Key Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day site operations across two blocks totalling 65 apartments. • Coordinate subcontractors and trades to support safe, orderly progress. • Oversee activities associated with RC frame completion and façade works. • Plan work sequences and manage interfaces between different trades. • Monitor progress against the construction programme and flag emerging delays. • Carry out regular site inspections to check workmanship and identify defects. • Maintain site safety standards and address unsafe practices promptly. • Coordinate access, materials and work areas to keep activities moving. • Communicate progress, constraints and priorities to relevant project colleagues. • Take a hands-on approach to resolving site issues and maintaining delivery standards. Requirements • Relevant site management experience on apartment construction projects. • An understanding of both RC frame and traditional build apartment construction. • A practical, hands-on approach and the energy to take an active lead on site. • The ability to coordinate trades, manage competing priorities and maintain attention to safety and quality. • Availability to start on Thursday 5 November near Uxbridge, with an interest in a temp-to-perm opportunity. If your experience combines apartment delivery with a visible, practical approach to site management, apply to discuss the role
