Exciting Role for a Construction Site Manager in Surrey Our client, an award-winning house builder operating through Berkshire and Surrey are currently seeking a dedicated Construction Site Manager for their prestigious Surrey Development. This on-site contract role involves overseeing the construction of 5 luxury apartments, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Why Consider This Role? Key Responsibilities: – Daily Management: Surrey Site Manager overseeing the day-to-day operations of the new Development, ensuring smooth progress and adherence to schedules. – Planning and Coordination: Short-term planning of materials and labour, and daily management of subcontractors. – Reporting and Meetings: Provide weekly and daily progress reports to head office and chair subcontractor progress meetings. – Liaison: Regularly communicate with commercial and technical departments, external bodies including Building Control, Utilities companies, NHBC, and Local Authorities. – Health & Safety: Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed, including issuing permits to work, conducting site inductions, and reviewing subcontractor RAMS. – Quality Inspections: Conduct quality inspections throughout the build process to maintain high standards. – Customer/Sales Liaison: Engage with customers and sales teams to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Skills and Experience Required: – Qualifications: Site Management Safety Training Scheme, First Aid at Work, Scaffold Inspection, and a CSCS card. A Temporary Works qualification is beneficial. – Experience: Proven experience in construction site management, particularly in luxury residential developments. – Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computers for Teams meetings, document and drawing reviews, and emails. – Driving Licence: A full driving licence is essential.
