Key Responsibilities: – Conduct thorough inspections of properties under construction to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. – Perform pre-occupation and re-inspections, providing detailed reports to exceed NHBC standards. – Monitor and advise on the implementation of the company’s waste policy. – Provide support and guidance to site management teams, ensuring efficient and professional site operations. – Review and suggest improvements to design quality throughout the build process. – Attend various meetings to coordinate and address quality issues, providing valuable input and solutions. – Produce and deliver presentations on quality issues to Site Managers and senior management. – Oversee and resolve complex customer defect issues, ensuring satisfactory outcomes. Skills and Experience Required: – In-depth knowledge of NHBC standards and regulations. – Proficiency in interpreting and providing feedback on technical drawings. – Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage workloads remotely. – Keen eye for detail, particularly in the quality of finished properties. – Competence in using Microsoft Word and Excel. – A mindset geared towards continuous improvement.
