Our client is one of the nation's leading brands and is expanding across Surrey, Sussex, and Kent. We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team. The role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor blends professional growth with personal satisfaction. Working closely with experienced professionals, you will gain invaluable insights and hands-on experience in managing costs and ensuring the financial efficiency of construction projects. This position offers a stimulating work environment where your skills will be honed, and your career trajectory accelerated. This role provides flexible working between office, home, and site. You will work on two new developments in Kent and Sussex with support from a Senior Surveyor. The aim is to work on these developments under guidance and gain exposure to other sites. Responsibilities may increase based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates.
- Conduct site visits.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers.
- Participate in budget management and cost control.
- Prepare financial reports to ensure projects remain within budget and meet high standards.
Qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
