Long-Term Substitute High School Social/Science Teacher at Chelmsford Public Schools.

Location: Chelmsford High School

Assignment Dates: April 28, 2025 through May 19, 2025 (Dates are subject to change)

General Description:

Teach students in academic and critical skills, working within assigned subject areas to provide optimum student services in accordance with the objectives established by the School Committee. Coordinate efforts with specialists assigned to provide additional specific services. Confer with parents to promote better understanding of the pupil and his/her environment. Assist and guide ancillary personnel. Attend meetings and prepare and maintain all related records and reports reflecting activities as required or directed. Perform other duties as directed or as responsibilities necessitate.

Job Requirements:
  • Successful candidates will hold the appropriate degree and MA DESE Teaching License in the subject and grade level.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
