Overview

Trainee Nursery Practitioner - Brighton x 2

Hours: 32.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday).

Salary: £8.00-£12.21 per hour. This is a full-time apprenticeship role with training provided.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in delivering learning opportunities that meet children's individual needs in a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Support the team to plan, prepare, and review activities.
  • Work in partnership with parents and implement the nursery's policies and procedures.
  • Support the Nursery Practitioners by creating a stimulating and exciting environment in the assigned room.

Qualifications and Training

  • English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
  • Enrolment on a Level 3 Childcare training course, expected to be completed within 12 months.
  • Paediatric first aid and safeguarding training will be provided as part of the programme.

  • The ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, reliability, and organisational skills.
