Reports to: PA to Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director
Young Foundations is seeking a highly organised and professional Personal Assistant to support the Director of Operations and Director of Education. This is a key role within the organisation, providing high-level administrative, secretarial and organisational support to two senior leaders. You will play an integral part in ensuring the smooth and effective coordination of leadership activity, managing priorities, facilitating communication and supporting the delivery of strategic objectives across the organisation.
Young Foundations is a specialist provider of residential care and education for children and young people with complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities and mental health challenges. With services across the UK, we deliver tailored, nurturing support in homely environments, helping young people build independence, confidence and brighter futures.
The Role
- Providing comprehensive personal and secretarial support to the Director of Operations and Director of Education.
- Managing busy diaries, appointments, meetings and travel arrangements.
- Coordinating meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas and circulating documentation.
- Supporting the collation, analysis and presentation of information, reports and data.
- Attending meetings and preparing accurate minutes where required.
About You
You will be an experienced Personal Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and is confident supporting senior leaders. You will be proactive, highly organised and able to work with discretion at all times. You will demonstrate:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- The ability to prioritise workload effectively and meet deadlines.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving capability.
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- The ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience in a similar role is highly desirable. A full UK driving licence with the ability to travel as required is essential.
