Binley Woods is looking for a Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated care team supporting young adults aged 16–25 with complex mental health needs. Based in a peaceful residential setting with large gardens and shared communal spaces, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable young people—helping them to build independence, stability, and confidence for the future.

We welcome and encourage applications from men, who are currently underrepresented in social care roles—only 18% of the adult social care workforce is male, and we believe diverse teams make stronger teams.

What Makes This Role Unique

  • Lead and guide young adults at critical life stages—use your influence to help shape futures.
  • Be part of a supportive, tight‑knit team in a role set within a scenic environment with expansive outdoor space and gardens.
  • Provide structure and positive role modelling to support young people managing mental health challenges.

This Role Is for You If You:

  • Value teamwork, leadership, and responsibility.
  • Are passionate about helping young people develop life skills and independence.
  • Stay calm and adaptable under pressure.
  • Communicate effectively with both young people and colleagues.
  • Are reliable, proactive, and committed to making a real impact.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and a fulfilling, long‑term career.
  • Fully funded professional training (Level 3/4 Health & Social Care, Therapeutic Childcare degree).
  • Clear career progression routes into senior roles.
  • Salary sacrifice scheme, enhanced leave, and a supportive team culture.
  • Ongoing career development, wellness support, and on‑the‑job training.

Ready to Apply? If you’re looking for a rewarding career where you can help young people thrive—and feel you have the compassion, resilience, and interpersonal skills to make a difference—we’d love to hear from you.

Young Foundations is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff to share this commitment and to undergo appropriate checks in line with our safeguarding policy. All offers of employment are subject to an Enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, right to work checks and any other necessary checks.

Binley Woods is a small, nurturing, community based home offering 24 hour care to young adults whose complex needs mean they need more clinical support than one would normally expect to find in mainstream post‑18 residential services. Our location, in a community setting, is in keeping with our aspiration that, wherever possible, the young adults living at Binley Woods do so as a temporary stepping stone on a pathway to independent living.
