As a Cook/Housekeeper your duties will be:
- Start your day as our cook and finish with housekeeping duties.
- Preparation of cooking and service of food and beverages accommodating any special dietary requirements and following agreed menus.
- Packing of meals for transport to other locations where appropriate.
- Control of the servery, washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables, and cleaning of the kitchen, surrounding area and equipment.
- Receipt and safe storage of goods, stock control, stocktaking and completion of monitoring sheets reporting any discrepancies to the Headteacher.
- Maintaining high standard of cleanliness throughout the building as directed by the Head Teacher, whilst always respecting the privacy of the staff within the offices and being mindful of any private meetings and conversations taking place.
- Safe use, handling and storage of all COSHH related agents and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Always follow food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of food storage temperatures, cleaning rotas, and stock levels.
- Ensure that cleaning aids are restocked as appropriate at the end of a shift and cleaning cupboards are left clean and tidy.
- Take responsibility of ensuring we are always fully stocked and inform the Head Teacher as and when required.
