10 hours per week, permanent contract based in Plymouth.
Are you a dynamic and engaging Youth Worker looking for a new challenge? Are you passionate about connecting with young people and building meaningful relationships where they are? This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative programme exploring young people’s risk-taking behaviours and safety in the community, working in partnership with leading youth work providers across the South West.
You will deliver proactive, engaging and high-quality youth work as part of a skilled team across various locations in the Plymouth area. The role involves building positive relationships with young people and creating opportunities for them to explore risk-taking, reduce potential harm, and develop safe, healthy relationships.
We are looking for someone who can inspire young people to reflect on their choices and make positive decisions. You will have an understanding of adolescent development and experience engaging young people in various activities. Experience leading sports or physical activities would be an advantage.
