We have an exciting opportunity in Supported Lodgings, an OFSTED regulated initiative that provides Young People aged 16 - 25 the opportunity to live in a safe and supportive home environment. Placed Young People receive support from the host family, the local authority, and Young Devon staff. This includes both practical guidance and emotional encouragement to help them prepare for their future.
Based in Exeter, this role involves regular travel to meet with Young People in placement, providing practical and emotional support to help them develop independence skills and achieve positive move-on outcomes. The postholder will work closely with Supported Lodgings staff and partner agencies to support each Young Person’s progress and wellbeing.
We are seeking a proactive and energetic Lead Worker who is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to improving outcomes for Young People, supporting their personal development and independence skills, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
