As demand for our services continues to grow across the UK, we are looking for a Recruitment & Operations Coordinator to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is organised, ambitious, people-focused, and looking to build a long-term career within recruitment, operations, healthcare, social care, or business management. You do not need extensive experience. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong organisational skills, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

About the Role

The Recruitment & Operations Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring Young Crisis Hub has the right people, in the right places, at the right time to deliver exceptional support to children and young people. You will support recruitment activities, workforce planning, staff scheduling, compliance processes, and day-to-day operational administration. Working closely with senior leaders, you will gain valuable exposure to recruitment, healthcare operations, workforce management, safeguarding, and service delivery. This is a varied role where no two days are the same and where your contribution will have a direct impact on the quality of support we provide to vulnerable young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
    • Advertise vacancies across job boards, social media platforms, and recruitment channels
    • Source suitable candidates using LinkedIn, recruitment platforms, and networking opportunities
    • Review applications and support shortlisting activities
    • Coordinate and schedule interviews
    • Build and maintain talent pipelines for future recruitment needs
    • Support candidate onboarding and induction processes
    • Obtain references and assist with pre-employment checks
    • Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking systems
    • Help promote Young Crisis Hub as an employer of choice
  • Operations & Workforce Coordination
    • Assist with the creation and management of staff rotas
    • Coordinate workforce scheduling and shift allocation
    • Liaise with staff regarding availability and shift requirements
    • Support managers in maintaining safe staffing levels across services
    • Monitor staffing gaps and assist in arranging appropriate cover
    • Maintain operational records and workforce data
    • Support service mobilisation and new package set-up activities
    • Assist with day-to-day operational administration
  • Compliance & Administration
    • Maintain accurate employee and recruitment records & support our compliance team where necessary

  • Previous administration experience
  • Experience in recruitment, healthcare, education, social care, or customer service
  • Experience using scheduling or rota management systems
  • Understanding of safeguarding principles
  • Experience using LinkedIn or recruitment platforms
  • Knowledge of the health and social care sector
