We are recruiting experienced Support Workers to join our residential teams delivering crisis and stabilisation placements for children and young people with complex needs. This role is well suited to professionals with backgrounds in children's residential care, secure settings, youth offending services, custodial environments or intensive behavioural support roles who are looking for consistent full-time hours within a specialist service.

Our crisis placements support young people who require long or short term, intensive care during periods of instability or placement breakdown, providing them with a safe, structured environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting young people within crisis and stabilisation placements
  • Building positive and consistent relationships with children and young people
  • Supporting daily routines, engagement and structure
  • Managing and responding appropriately to challenging behaviours
  • Working alongside managers, clinical teams and external professionals
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care planning
  • Supporting young people to access education, activities and community engagement

What we’re looking for:

  • 2 years experience in a relevant CAMHS setting is essential
  • Right to work in the UK – No sponsorship available.
  • Candidates with experience working with high-risk or complex young people, particularly within:
  • Children's Residential Homes
  • Secure Children’s Centres
  • Youth Offending Services
  • Custodial / Prison Environments
  • Mental Health or Behavioural Support Roles
  • You should be:
    • Calm and confident in challenging situations
    • Experienced working with complex behaviour or emotional needs
    • A strong team player with good communication skills
    • Committed to providing consistent, high-quality care
  • A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or similar) is desirable.
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred.
