We're looking for a General Manager for the Bear Inn in Esher. This high street pub has been quenching the thirst of regulars and travellers for over 300 years, and comes complete with a beer garden and 9 boutique bedrooms. There is a range of bookable spaces for customers for celebrations, and the food is exactly what you'd expect from a premium high street pub - pub classics, burgers from the shack in the summer, and sharing plates - all made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
At its heart, this is a community-focused high street pub with rooms. The perfect candidate is someone who is a great operator, has an eye for sales driving, and is passionate about delivering a fantastic experience, to ensure that the Bear continues to be at the heart of its community for another 300 years.
We believe pubs should be differentiated and individual, and so we are looking for entrepreneurial General Managers to put their own stamp on our businesses. We're all about freedom within a framework - you decide what goes on the food menu.
