What we look for in a Head Chef:
- This role requires someone who can inspire a team, bring out potential, and lead by example while developing, costing, and producing fresh seasonal menus for various revenue streams within the business.
- Experience championing excellent service through quality food, either as a Head Chef or Sous Chef
- A passion for leading and developing a team
- Hands-on team player with excellent communication skills
- Responsibility for managing the kitchen staff rota, training, and health and safety effectively
- Creativity and ability to design and deliver new dishes for menus and specials
- Strong planning and organisational skills to maintain effective controls regarding GP and labour
- A proactive approach to driving sales and growth through engagement with kitchen and front of house teams
