Job Description:

As a Play Worker, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the success of our holiday programs. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate a safe and enjoyable environment for children, fostering their social and emotional development through play.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage and interact with children in a positive and inclusive manner.
  2. Plan and organize play activities that promote creativity and social skills.
  3. Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during program hours.
  4. Collaborate with fellow team members to create a cohesive and supportive environment.
  5. Assist in the setup and cleanup of play areas.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience working with children in a play or recreational setting.
  2. Passion for promoting positive child development through play.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  5. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of the program.

Qualifications:

Relevant certifications in childcare, playwork, or related fields are desirable, such as sports National Governing Body (NGB) certifications in Football, Tennis, Dodgeball, Fencing, Rugby, etc. First Aid and Safeguarding certifications are advantageous.
