Coaching opportunity at Harrow Leisure Centre

Temporary Inclusive Sports Coach Cover – November

We are looking for a coach to cover a series of relaxed, inclusive multisport sessions for adults with additional needs and learning disabilities throughout November. The sessions are social and welcoming, allowing participants to enjoy playing sport at their own pace. No specialist drills or technical coaching are required.

Session times

Monday, 11 am–12.30 pm: Table Tennis

Friday, 2 pm–3.30 pm: Badminton

Friday's badminton session is the priority, with around 12–14 participants each week. The session takes place across five courts in Sports Hall 3, with participants playing games and rotating between courts according to their skill levels. Most participants leave at 3 pm to meet their arranged transport.

The Monday and Thursday sessions usually have 5–6 participants each week.

What to expect

A friendly, relaxed and social environment.

Participants who are familiar with the sessions and venue.

Carers who attend, play alongside participants, and support them throughout the sessions, so the coach isn't working alone.

All sports equipment provided.

Duration: Temporary cover from 3–29 November 2026, with the possibility of further opportunities as additional clubs open in the new year.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys sport, values inclusion and wants to help adults with additional needs enjoy being active in a supportive environment.
