Member Development Officer \\n\\nLocation: Hybrid – Barnet\\n\\nSalary: £27,000 – £30,000 pro rata (£16,200 – £24,000)\\n\\nHours: 21 hours per week\\n\\nVacancy Type: Part-time, Fixed-term (12 months)\\n\\nAbout Young Barnet Foundation\\n\\nYoung Barnet Foundation (YBF) supports over 200 charities, community groups and social enterprises delivering vital services and positive activities for children and young people across the London Borough of Barnet. We work closely with local partners, schools and the council to strengthen the voluntary and community sector and improve outcomes for young people, particularly those facing the greatest disadvantage.\\n\\nWe are proud members of Barnet Together and part of the wider Young People’s Foundation network operating across London and beyond.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nWe are looking for a Member Development Officer to join our friendly and collaborative Member Development Team at an exciting time of growth and development.\\n\\nThis role is central to supporting and strengthening our member organisations. You will work closely with colleagues to provide one-to-one support, encourage collaboration, identify gaps and opportunities, and help ensure that organisations working with children and young people in Barnet are supported to thrive.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nProvide tailored one-to-one support to member organisations, including onboarding, advice, signposting and organisational development\\n\\nSupport collaboration and partnership working between member organisations and local stakeholders\\n\\nHelp identify funding needs and support members to access fundraising and bidding opportunities\\n\\nSupport the delivery of member networks, forums and engagement events\\n\\nGather insight from members to inform YBF strategy, advocacy and reporting\\n\\nMaintain accurate records using YBF’s CRM system (Salesforce)\\n\\nPromote YBF’s commitments to equality, diversity, inclusion and environmental sustainability\\n\\nAbout You\\n\\nYou will have:\\n\\nExperience working in the voluntary, community or youth sector\\n\\nStrong relationship-building and communication skills\\n\\nExperience of supporting organisations or communities\\n\\nGood experience of working with Microsoft suite and CRM systems such as Salesforce\\n\\nGood organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload\\n\\nA commitment to equality, inclusion and positive social change\\n\\nExperience of partnership working, project management, events or funding support would be an advantage.\\n\\nWhat We Offer\\n\\nFlexible and hybrid working\\n\\nA supportive, values-led team environment\\n\\nPersonalised training and development opportunities\\n\\nModern office space\\n\\nCompany pension and staff events\\n\\nThe opportunity to make a real difference to children, young people and communities in Barnet\\n\\nTo Apply \\n\\nIf you feel you are a suitable candidate and would like to work for Young Barnet Foundation, please do not hesitate to apply
