Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 50 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking an experienced Centre Cook to join our brand new Liverpool Service. This position is a full-time role - Monday to Friday between 8 AM - 4 PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and modify a seasonal menu created by our nutritionist.
  • Maintain regular checks in compliance with the NSW Food Standards Code and Health Regulations.
  • Assist staff and families in providing high-quality education and care.
  • Collaborate with staff and families to facilitate learning opportunities relevant to the educational program.
  • Maintain professional, supportive and respectful relationships between management, staff, families and children.

About You:

  • Demonstrated Cook/Chef experience in the Aged Care or Early Childhood Education and Care sector.
  • An ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Food Handlers Basics Certificate.
  • Valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check.
  • Knowledge of Food Standards Codes, EYLF and NQS.
