Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and rapidly expanding provider with more than 45 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking a passionate casual educator to support our Centres in the Greater Western Region.
As a Casual Educator at Young Academics, you will support the Centre staff to provide high-quality, inclusive education and care. You will assist educators and ensure every child in your care feels safe, supported and inspired to learn.
Responsibilities- Support the Centre Staff providing high quality education and care
- Apply approved learning frameworks (EYLF) that promote each child's identity, connection to community, wellbeing, learning confidence, and communication skills.
- Maintain a safe environment, proactively managing risks and adhering to health and hygiene protocols.
- Build & maintain clear and accurate communication within the team, children and families, and nurture professional, supportive and respectful relationships.
- A minimum of 6 months paid employment in a Childcare setting
- Demonstrated experience in planning, documentation, and implementing programs for children 0-6 years with regards to current pedagogies and frameworks.
- Hold a completed Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care from a nationally approved registered training organisation or an ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and sector regulations
- Current First Aid training and CPR Certificate
- Valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check
- Commitment to upholding a Child Safe Organisation and inclusive practices
