We are an established, privately owned company specialising in working with worldwide med-tech and diagnostics businesses to support their entry into the UK market. Offering tailored strategic consultancy, product launch support, bespoke sales and distribution programmes, our success is built on having a strong understanding of the products, the UK clinical marketplace and a network of established relationships.
As we continue our growth we are seeking a full-time &/or part-time MedTech Account Manager to work closely with our Business Development team and support the Business Director in building relationships with potential clients and develop an ongoing business pipeline. The role is mainly virtual but needs to be UK based.
- Developing identified warm leads into evaluation sites / trial sites and sales
- Presenting our client’s assays to Clinical Directors, Clinicians and Lab Teams within the NHS and Private MedTech sector.
- Maintaining regular client communication to find out the status of their projects.
- Leading evaluations and trials at sites including training / distribution of products.
To be successful in the role we are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following essential qualities and skills:
- Senior MedTech Sales experience - An understanding of the MedTech/Diagnostics sector. Proven competency in Business Development / Medical Sales or similar.
- Experience with presenting and closing sales.
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently on a remote basis.
- Strong communicator, able to network and develop good working relationships.
- Excellent presentation skills, spoken and written English.
- Degree educated (Medical or associated).
- Preference would be having worked for or having experience with any of the following companies however any experience in commercial Med Tech is sufficient (surgical etc) :- Thermo Fisher Scientific.
- Competency in Microsoft Office packages.
Salary: To be discussed depending on hours and experience.
