The Role:
You will be working closely with the Head of European Operations and Transformation Lead to increase business intelligence through the use of data to drive growth. Together, you will be responsible for the strategic development of our European operations, owning projects end-to-end, and scaling YouLend\’s fastest growing regions (+100% year-on-year currently).
The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; as well as excellent people skills to communicate changes. In addition, it is expected that the candidate is able to work independently and proactively. This role will be targeted at improving the outcome, processes, and efficiencies across different functions in YouLend. In doing so, you will work alongside stakeholders across the business, from Sales and Credit Operations through to our Product and Technology team.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of making our processes the very best of any European fintech with a core focus on reducing friction in the merchant application journey
- This includes but is not limited to: (1) driving forward KPI reporting and monitoring across the teams to deliver growth and efficiency and (2) building our marketing and sales strategies, and (3) identifying process gaps and work with the team to close them
- Drive operational efficiencies while improving quality of work and ensuring our processes and policies live up to increasing degrees of compliance
- Identify automation and other improvement opportunities to further develop the process for delivering rapid financing to merchants
- Supporting the Head of European Operations with projects and process innovation
Requirements
- Project management experience from a fast-paced environment with a focus on execution, e.g. experience in start-ups or scale-ups
- Strong problem solving and analytics, e.g. through MS Excel and tools like PowerBI
- Excellent communication: written and verbal
- Excellent change management handling
- Experience of mass data manipulation through SQL, Python, R, etc. would be useful
- You will be proactive, take ownership, and act with urgency
