We're looking for a Lead Data Analyst to build and own the central view of company performance, proactively identify shifts and find strategic opportunities to improve growth, profitability and efficiency. We're looking for someone who is highly curious with a bias to action, combining strong technical skills with excellent communication and business sense.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders across the business to build out central company-level monitoring that drives decisions.
- Define and proactively monitor KPIs to identify performance shifts.
- Lead strategic deep-dives to identify opportunities to improve YouLend.
- Turn business insights into an actionable plan and build senior stakeholder alignment around it.
- Raise the bar on analytical standards across the company (testing, dashboard design, documentation, storytelling, etc.).
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 5+ years in an analytics role.
- Examples of working with cross-functional groups of stakeholders to drive alignment on metric definitions then building the central monitoring for core KPIs.
- A track record of identifying strategic opportunities and shaping the narrative for the business.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced ambiguous environment.
- Able to mentor and upskill other analysts and business stakeholders.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Experience building impactful dashboards.
- Strong analytical thinking with a solid knowledge of applied statistics.
- Familiarity with dbt and analytics engineering best practices.
