We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to lead portfolio monitoring and pricing decisions, working closely with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Risk, and Capital. The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance commercial objectives, risk tolerance, and financial outcomes to drive optimal pricing strategies.
The Capital Market team is responsible for managing relationships with institutional investors that deploy capital via the YouLend platform; tracking performance of investment mandates; identifying early market trends to take relevant actions; deploying and reporting on individual portfolios.
Key Responsibilities- Monitoring portfolio performance across products and vintages, ensuring alignment with capital mandates and covenant requirements, and identifying trends, risks, and return drivers to inform pricing and portfolio decisions.
- Automating financial models and manual reporting processes while upholding data accuracy, working closely with internal team members to solidify financial model assumptions supporting our investment offering.
- Assuming ownership of external client data requests and inquiries, including troubleshooting and tieâouts.
- Liaising with Technology, Data and Operations leadership to ensure alignment on project objectives, deliverables, requirements, and status updates.
- Education: Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Credit, Fintech, or a similar industry.
- Proven experience collaborating across multiple business units.
- Strong analytical and problemâsolving skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and SQL.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and align crossâfunctional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python) and familiarity with business intelligence software.
- Experience in cashflow modelling.
- Inâdepth domain expertise in structured finance and securitized products at an institutional level across any asset class.
- Ability to work independently and in a small team.
