We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce Test Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of our Salesforce applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to identify and resolve defects, ensuring that our Salesforce solutions align with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Test Execution: Conduct manual and automated tests to validate Salesforce applications’ functionality, performance, and security.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using a defect management tool, working with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to confirm that new features or updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
- Collaboration: Partner with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with business goals.
- Reporting: Provide regular test status updates and reports, highlighting risks, issues, and recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, testing methodologies, and best practices, proactively suggesting process and tool improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of software testing experience, with a focus on Salesforce applications.
- Certifications: Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder certification is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium and TestNG.
- Experience in Salesforce testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components is a plus.
