We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join YouGov’s growing in-house tax function and play a key role in strengthening global tax operations. You will be responsible for tax accounting, compliance, and international tax matters across the Group. This role will support the transition towards a more centralised tax model, improving consistency, controls, and efficiency while reducing reliance on external advisors. You will gain broad exposure across corporate tax, deferred tax, transfer pricing, and global tax initiatives within a fast-paced, international organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Accounting & Reporting
    • Manage current and deferred tax accounting processes, including reconciliations, journals, and IFRS (IAS 12) reporting requirements.
    • Support half-year and year-end tax reporting, statutory disclosures, and audit activities.
    • Partner with Finance teams to ensure accurate tax treatment across Group entities.
  • Tax Compliance & International Tax
    • Oversee corporate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accurate and timely filings and payments.
    • Review external advisor outputs and maintain strong relationships with tax authorities where required.
    • Support international tax matters including transfer pricing, withholding tax, cross-border transactions, and regulatory developments such as BEPS and Pillar 2.
  • Transfer Pricing & Process Improvement
    • Support transfer pricing documentation, intercompany processes, and policy compliance.
    • Drive improvements across tax processes, controls, and reporting.
    • Support automation and internalisation of tax knowledge to improve efficiency and reduce reliance on external advisors.

What You’ll Bring:

  • ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Extensive experience in corporate tax, ideally with a combination of professional services and in-house experience.
  • Strong experience in corporate tax reporting, deferred tax accounting (IAS 12), and multi-jurisdictional compliance.
  • Experience working within a multinational organisation and exposure to international tax and transfer pricing matters.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and tax information.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across global teams.
