You will harness your innate curiosity of what motivates people through your work in designing screeners to recruit the right people to interviews and assisting with guides to the conversations you will help to facilitate. You will use your ability to analyze and explain complex motivations to others when helping in the summarization and reporting of the research you’ve helped to collect. You will be a crucial part of a fun, energetic and welcoming team. You will be supporting them in undertaking genuinely interesting work, facilitating the team to allow people to have a voice in the decisions that impact their lives.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):

  • You will apply your organization skills in:
  • Creating and testing screeners to recruit the best people to interview on a given subject
  • Uploading data and analyzing it in our AI platform
  • Selecting the best people to take part in research projects
  • Over time, conducting qualitative interviews with respondents online through video calls, text focus groups and online communities
  • Assisting in the analysis of qualitative interviews conducted by others, using analysis grids to note key points and quotes
  • Contributing to, and helping with quality control reporting, case studies and the making of short thematic films – bringing the story alive for clients

These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:

  • A natural curiosity in what motivates other people
  • Degree qualified in a related subject (e.g. a social science, English, Humanities, history)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to self-organize and self-manage
  • Excellent written, oral and electronic communication skills
  • A proactive approach
  • Ability to prioritize multiple demands and a changing workload
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work within a multi-country team

It would be great if you had these too, but we’ll support you if you don’t:

  • Proficient use of Microsoft package (Word, Excel, PPT)
  • Understanding of qualitative research methods
  • Experience of writing PPT reports
  • Eye for design and creativity
