As a Finance Business Partner – UK & Tech, you will act as a strategic advisor to business units, using financial data and insights to support decision‑making, improve performance, and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships between the finance department and business leaders, acting as a strategic business partner to support growth, efficiency, and profitability.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operational initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long‑range plans, aligning them with business objectives.
- Monitor and report on business performance, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support month‑end close processes, including preparation of the flash report, variance analysis, and commentary in the monthly pack.
- Calculate quarterly commission accruals and sales bonuses.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support business case evaluations and scenario planning.
- Partner with department leads to help them understand financial results and make informed decisions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or business partnering roles.
- Experience working in a commercial, fast‑paced environment (advantage).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI or other data visualisation tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, OneStream).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non‑finance stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
