An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and ambitious Financial Controller to join a large, privately owned organisation with extensive operations across the South of England and a strong track record of investment and growth. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will take ownership of the finance function, managing the transactional finance team while strengthening reporting, financial processes and controls across the business. This role will suit someone who enjoys working closely with the wider organisation and ensuring finance provides clear insight and structure to support decision making.
Key responsibilities
- Managing and developing the transactional finance team
- Producing monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Maintaining financial controls and governance
- Monitoring cash flow and improving financial processes
About you
- Experience at Financial Controller level or within a senior finance leadership role
- Strong management accounts and financial reporting experience
- Experience managing transactional finance teams
- Collaborative, practical and commercially aware
- Experience within operational industries such as construction, infrastructure, manufacturing or logistics would be advantageous
