We are working with a respected regional developer who is looking for a Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager to lead their internal quality systems, raise compliance standards, and strengthen safety culture across multiple active sites and business units.
This is a forward-thinking construction group where quality, safety, and sustainability aren’t just policies they’re priorities. You will be a pivotal figure driving improvement and innovation, with support from a senior HSEQ leadership team that values proactive thinking and high standards.
What you will bring to the role:
- Proven experience in quality assurance, compliance, or HSEQ within construction or housebuilding
- Experience managing certification schemes (e.g., ISO, SSIP, FORS)
- Strong working knowledge of ISO frameworks, audit processes, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent organisational and communication skills; you’re comfortable engaging with board members one day and site operatives the next
- Experience using SharePoint for document and system control
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across sites
What you will be doing:
- Spearheading the Business Management System (BMS) and refining quality processes via SharePoint
- Leading and managing monthly site audits and internal ISO audit programmes (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, 27001)
- Acting as a champion for fire safety, building safety regulations, and SSIP frameworks
- Collaborating with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and certification providers
- Producing regular board-level reports on compliance, performance, and continual improvement
- Providing guidance and mentorship to on-site teams, embedding a culture of safety and quality
