We’re looking for a proactive and detail driven Import Clerk (Day shift) to support a global leader in temperature controlled logistics near Heathrow. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Import Clerk to join a business who continue to grow internationally and offer career development and a supportive team culture. This role is onsite, 4 on 4 off day shift hours are 06.00 - 18.00 and based near Heathrow.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee and manage all import documentation (airwaybills, permits, customs clearance, etc.)
- Ensure full compliance with UK customs and CAA regulations
- Liaise with internal teams, freight forwarders, customs, and clients to ensure efficient import operations
- Track and monitor shipments, resolving delays or discrepancies swiftly
- Handle duties and taxes accurately and ensure on-time payments
- Provide real-time updates and exceptional service to clients
