We’re looking for a Campaign Assistant to join our team in Leeds. This is a great opportunity for a junior marketer or recent marketing graduate with commercial experience to work on real client campaigns across content, social, digital assets and campaign reporting.

You Platforms is the group behind Leeds-List, Yorkshire-List and Manchester-List — trusted regional publishing brands with engaged audiences across the North. We create performance‑led campaigns that combine content, social, web, email and experiential activity to deliver measurable results for brands.

In this role, you’ll support the delivery of digital campaigns from asset creation through to reporting and optimisation. You’ll work closely with our commercial team, helping turn campaign ideas into well‑executed marketing activity that delivers more than just reach and clicks. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their marketing career who already has hands‑on experience creating digital assets and wants to build stronger skills in campaign delivery, performance analysis and client‑focused marketing.

What we’re looking for:

  • A degree in digital marketing or a related subject
  • At least 12 months of paid experience in a marketing, PR or social media role
  • Experience creating digital assets, including social graphics, short‑form video, animation or written content
  • Strong attention to detail and clear written English
  • Confidence working to a brief and within brand guidelines
  • Working knowledge of Canva and Meta Business Suite
  • An interest in campaign reporting, optimisation and measuring performance
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or GA4 is a strong advantage

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the commercial team with campaign production
  • Creating social ads and digital assets, including image, animation and video content
  • Writing and editing campaign copy to a high standard
  • Following copy and brand guidelines closely
  • Attending meetings with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Monitoring campaign performance and helping identify improvements
  • Measuring traffic, conversions and campaign response
  • Supporting the delivery of campaigns that create tangible marketing outcomes, not just impressions

What to expect in the application process:

We want to see evidence that you can contribute to campaigns with quality, accuracy and audience value built in, not just talk about it. As part of the application process, shortlisted candidates will be expected to demonstrate how they approach creative judgement, attention to detail, brand fit, audience relevance and campaign effectiveness in their work. That may include sharing examples of digital assets or campaign work you’ve contributed to, talking through the thinking behind your decisions, and completing a short practical task designed to show how you would approach a brief with both audience engagement and performance in mind.

Apply now: To apply, send your CV and examples of your digital marketing experience to jobs@youplatforms.com.

Additional information: Generative AI notice: you may use AI, but be mindful that your application might end up exactly the same as everyone else that uses AI. We believe in original content and talent, and that’s what we’re looking for here. Speculative applications from representatives, recruiters or other third parties that aren’t direct applicants aren’t accepted. You Platforms does not enter into contract with any party not on our preferred supplier list.
